Legendary basketball broadcaster hosts charity auction.

March madness fans have a chance to score tickets to the 2013 final four games, a meal with legendary basketball sportscaster Dick Vitale and other cool items during the Dick Vitale Charity Auction on Outbid.

The auction kicks off on Tuesday at noon ET and features 11 items, including two tickets to both March Madness final four games, a 2012 Kentucky national championship commemorative basketball signed by Vitale and breakfast with the broadcaster.

Proceeds benefit the V Foundation for Cancer Research. During the live auction, basketball fans can get their hands on gear and interact with the hall of famer.

“Fans are getting a fantastic chance to acquire coveted collectibles and hobnob with icons like Dickie V, all while making a difference by helping such a worthwhile fundraiser,” adds Outbid CEO Dan Granger.

Vitale seems excited about the auction. He say the live Outbid auctions are “infectious” and “in your face.”

“Just in time for us to fully give into the NCAA tournament, Outbid is also a great way to raise money for sports teams, schools, churches, or a cause as near and dear to me, like the V Foundation for Cancer Research,” he adds.

Auctions are free to attend.
