Pricing Site for Online Sellers to Lock Up will go offline Dec. 31.

A site that lets online sellers look up the prices of products they own and list them directly on eBay will retire at the end of the year.

Lockboxer will go offline Dec. 31, says Jennifer Morehead, the company’s founder, in an email announcement sent to users today. Lockboxer allows online sellers to research the price of items they own and list them on eBay, create wish lists of items they want, compile inventory lists of items they own or products they want to donate to charities, and get drop-off locations for those products, according to the site.

Morehead says the company made the choice to close Lockboxer to focus on its other brand, Moveboxer, which helps people find reputable movers, storage facilities, boxes and home security. In the email, she encourages Lockboxer customers and online sellers to download any inventory lists they have on the site so they don’t lose them.

She adds that Lockboxer may “resurface” in the future, but, for now, the site will retire.

“It’s been a pleasure to serve you,” she tells customers and online sellers. “We heard a lot of good things about Lockboxer along the way.”
