Facilities are part of deal to settle $269 million tax bill.
Last week Amazon said it would open a third fulfillment center in California. This week, the retailer said it would open three new Amazon fulfillment centers in Texas. The investment will create more than 1,000 jobs, official said on Wednesday. Facilities will be located in Coppell and Haslet, two cities near Dallas, and in Schertz, a city northeast of San Antonio.
