Etsy sellers can now view their store stats and create new listings on the go, thanks to updates to the Etsy iPad app, which were released today.
Merchants selling on Etsy can do these tasks as well as buy, send and use gift cards—if they’re located in the U.S.—and access all the features that are available on the Etsy iPhone app, reports Adam Brown, a spokesman for the company. These include viewing orders, receiving alerts when buyers make purchases and making quick updates.
Users will also notice with today’s update to the Etsy iPad app that they can access the site in Dutch, French, German and British English, Brown continues.
This update comes just weeks after Etsy released its Android app, which allows merchants selling on Etsy to search, browse others’ favorites stores, purchase items, track orders, contact shops and receive notifications, writes Laura Hood, a product marketing manager at Etsy, in the Etsy News Blog.
Etsy expects mobile shopping to be big this holiday season. In fact, shoppers already seem to favor it. From Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving, to Cyber Monday, the Monday after the holiday, almost one in three visits to the marketplace was made from mobile devices, Hood reports. That’s an increase from the usual one in four.
Merchants selling on Etsy can download the free iPad app at the iTunes App Store.
