Sellers who use the U.S. fulfillment company Webgistix and ship to Europe now have a way to get their products to buyers quicker than before.
That’s because the company recently opened two fulfillment centers in Europe, the second largest e-commerce market in the world. One of those centers is in Bedford, U.K., the other in Zurich, Switzerland.
The additions of the new fulfillment centers will reduce delivery times of international shipments by five to seven days and save merchants up to 50 percent on shipping costs, Webgistix reports.
“We’re giving mid-size retailers the same logistics power as large retailers through our global e-commerce network,” says Joseph DiSorbo, Webgistix’s CEO. “Our new capabilities in the U.K. and Switzerland, combined with our existing U.S. network, make it easy and affordable for any retailer anywhere in the world to reach consumers in the two largest e-commerce markets.”
Webgistix integrates with several shopping carts and marketplaces, including Amazon, Big Commerce, eBay, Shopify, Volusion and Yahoo, according to its website.
