eBay U.K. has its first seller to reach a feedback score of 1 million. Ken Emechebe, who owns Universal Gadgets, achieved the milestone back in April.
eBay recently honored Emechebe and his team of 13 employees with two plaques for the achievement.
Clare Gilmartin, vice president of U.K. and REO Marketplaces, congratulated the merchant saying, “The company is a great example of success on eBay, stemming from a dedicated team and strong customer service values. We’re delighted to have Universal Gadgets be the first member of the ‘1 million feedback club,’ and look forward to welcoming many more U.K. eBay sellers in the future.”
Emechebe began selling on eBay in 2008 as universalgadgets01. He deals in electronics and accessories. As of June 29, his feedback score was 1,053,224.
“Reaching 1 million feedback on eBay is phenomenal,” he notes on the eBay Seller Sphere. “My team and I are so excited to achieve this, and we will like to thank all our customers who have constantly believed in us, and we hope to continue to provide our customers with a great shopping experience on our eBay Store.”
In November 2008, eBay announced that a U.S. seller, Jack Sheng, had four of his eBay accounts surpass the 1 million mark.
