In recognition of the upcoming Memorial Day holiday in the U.S., eBay.com is encouraging sellers to donate to nonprofits that support America’s veterans, military service people and their families through its Giving Works campaign, “Honoring our Heroes.”

Through June 3, eBay is featuring six service-focused nonprofits, including Blue Star Families, veterans’ health researcher Northern California Institute for Research and Education, emergency response organization Team Rubicon, Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors, the USO, and even one for service dogs, the United States War Dogs Association.

As with any Giving Works listing, sellers can designate 10 percent to 100 percent of the selling price to donate to any of the participating organizations, and eBay will credit back insertion and final value fees by the same percentage pledged.

eBay also allows users to make direct cash donations using the Donate Now tab on the Giving Works page.
