eBay has updated its iPad app, giving buyers and sellers a better way to access the marketplace on their tablets.
The update “brings what [users] want right to the front,” eBay notes in its description of the updated eBay for iPad app. The company says the new version is good for both shoppers and sellers, adding that it lets merchants create listings quickly and stay connected to buyers.
Sellers can create listings in less than two minutes, according to eBay. They can also upload photos, scan the barcodes of items to research goods and import item details to their listings, and reply to questions and Best Offers on the go.
For buyers, the eBay iPad app means they can customize their home screens to easily see the items they’re watching and view search results in three ways—which range from “highly visually to very detailed”—eBay notes. Shoppers can also complete checkout if they use PayPal, eBay gift cards and eBay Bucks on their iPads.
eBay adds that users’ suggestions prompted some of the enhancements made in the app’s latest version. Among the user-requested additions were the ability to revise listings, the addition of a back button and improved search.
“With your feedback, we’ve made an app we know you’ll love,” the company notes in its app description. The eBay iPad app can be downloaded for free from the App Store.
